Welcome to the House of Prayer Ministry. The House of Prayer Ministry is open to all who desire a deeper experience with God, need prayer or would like to participate in the larger prayer ministry of Cornerstone.
We meet on Tuesdays from 7:00pm - 8:15pm and every other Friday from 6:00am - 7:45am. Worship, intercession, personal prayer and partaking of the Lord's table together in holy communion are the four cornerstones of the House of Prayer and typically happen in that order.
Worship :: Worship and prayer are intrinsically linked and always accompany one another at the House of Prayer Ministry. Rev. 5:8 gives us a picture of this in heaven, Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. The Lord inhabits the praises of his people and we cultivate His manifest presence in this manner. Although we always start in worship, we remember that worship is a constant state of being that never stops, not just a switch we turn on and off. Worship should always be spontaneous. As we come together, we sit in a circle, but people may stand, kneel or fall prostrate. If anyone wants to sing a praise song or a hymn, they just start singing (without interrupting) at any time and the rest of us join in. People can also request that one of the musicians play a particular song. If you play guitar, bring it along!
