Children & Families Ministry

• Sunday School Teachers: Teach the youngest Cornerstone attenders about the love of our Lord with the help of biblical curriculum.
• Sunday School Assistants: Assist teachers with curriculum and classroom management, develop relationships with the kids, and share your faith with words and deeds on Sunday mornings!
• Substitute Teachers: If you have experience in the classroom, but can’t commit to a regular schedule, please consider being on my Sunday School substitute list!
• Nursery Helpers: Hold babies and play with toddlers so their parents can nurture their relationships with the Lord on Sunday mornings, Tuesday mornings, and Wednesday evenings.
• Hall Monitors: Greet new families and direct them to the right classrooms, maintain a safe environment during either service in the hallways, and assist teachers when needed.
• Buddies: Spend one-on-one time with our special needs kids while their parents attend classes and worship.
• Special Events Team: Brainstorm and coordinate special events for kids and their families for the purpose of fellowship and outreach throughout the year. Also help with teacher training lunches (quarterly) and come up with other ways to show our teachers how valuable they are to us.
• Family Missions Team: research and implement meaningful service opportunities for kids and their families throughout the year. Includes help with Operation Christmas Child and Angel Tree Project.
• Graphics consultant: Need help designing classroom signs, logo for Children’s Ministry.
  • Treble Makers Director/Assistant: Use your musical gifts with the 3-5 year olds during Wednesday night’s Cornerstone Cafe with the help of a curriculum.
• Children’s Wing Handyman: playground repairs, cupboard door fixes, helping hang things on the walls… use your craftsmanship gift in the children’s ministry this year, and SEE the difference!
• Classroom renovation team: Join me in creating a warm, fun, welcoming environment for our kids to learn about Jesus in! I especially need a visionary and lots of help carrying it out. Decorators, artists, seamstresses: we can use you all!
