Serving others is at the heart of "Transformissional Community". Service in done in informal relationships through Lifegroups, in formal partnership with non-profits and through different Ministries at Cornerstone. Below is a list of local organizations that we are currently partnering with, and some of our own ministries designed to help Cornerstone strategically serve people in our local communities.

Over the past several years Cornerstone church has partnered with the FLC in raising funds, facility upgrades and their yearly "back to school back pack drive" for low income families in our community.

ShareFest: May 2008
ShareFest is our annual one day service event in which 20 local churches serve 3 school districts and several social service organizations in facility renovations.

Refugee Ministry:
Cornerstone Church is partnering with the Lutheran Family Services of Colorado, the United Nations, in an adoption and assimilation program for refugees around the world. This is a concerted effort by individuals within our church family to collectively assimilate newly arrived refugees into life in Boulder County.

Boulder/Broomfield County Foster Families:
Cornerstone Church is partnering with this local non-profit that aids foster families in the challenges of foster care. Currently, Cornerstone Church plans and sponsors quarterly events for these wonderful families.

Case de la Esperanza [House of Hope]: www.co.boulder.co.us/cs/ho/esperanza
This Longmont non-profit provides low-income housing and a educational center for migrant families in Boulder County. Currently our student ministry runs the weekly neigborhood mentoring and tutoring program that serves approxamatly 60 K-12 students. The student ministry also partners with Case de la Esperanza in a yearly shoe drive and Christmas party.

Boulder County Social Services:
Cornerstone Church in partnership with Boulder County Social Services is providing adult mentors for the counties foster/adopt teenagers. Mentors meet for 1 hour weekly with their student and provide encouragement, support and love. Contact Gabe Kinzley for more information: gabe@gocornerstone.org
