A Note from out Lead Pastor, Gene Binder :: Damian Kilday, one of our regular worship leaders, suggested Cornerstone produce a CD with original worship songs from songwriters who attend or are connected to our congregation.  The profits from this project would then be used to help what Jesus calls in Matthew 25, "the least of these." We immediately gave Damian the green light and he has already gathered our songwriters together to start the project. I've heard a few of the songs they are working on and they are truly amazing.

Each songwriter not only donated all of their time and talent to this project, they donated 100% of the profits and royalties from CD sales to ministries that serve "the least of these" in the world. We plan on directing these funds specifically to ministries that rescue young children from the sex trade industry and to the poor in Israel. 

We believe this is a project right after God's heart and he will bless its success. We can't wait to see how many people will be lifted off the bottom from our efforts.

The Lord's Prayer Music Video

In the fall of 2008 Gene Binder (Lead Pastor of Cornerstone) gave a message "Investing in the Right Treasures" and there followed an outpouring from the congregation in the form of ideas and projects to help the people described in Matthew 25.

"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.' - verse 40

One of those projects was envisioned by the worship team, and became "The Least of These" worship project. The idea was to make a CD with original worship music (written and performed by Cornerstone artists) and sell as many as we could to support ministries for the poor in Israel as well as the sex trafficing of children in Asia. During the 2008 Christmas Eve services, Gene asked for a love offering to support the worship project and we received more than enough to cover the production costs of the CD.
